On Saturday we went to St. Mary's Western Days in Highland. It is their annual fund raising carnival. Evan had the time of his life as he rode on carnival rides for the very first time.
My name is Michael Johnson, I have taken up photography and decided to make this my profession in search of a more personally rewarding job. I have been attending seminars and reading everything I can get my hands on for the last two years. I feel I have grown considerably and am ready to take the next step and begin showing my work and seeking clients. I am starting this blog in an attempt to not only show my work but also to track my progress.
I chose the name Johnson's Basement for my business, because as I am starting this business from scratch, most of the processing and work of the business is done in the basement of my home. I have done everything from basic image editing to setting up a makeshift studio there.
As I grow I would like to hear from you. Any comments are welcome. Please feel free to bookmark this site as I will post images not only from any work, but also from family outings. It is my goal to make Johnson's Basement your one stop for archiving your family history. I would like to be there for your wedding, your first child up to your 50th wedding anniversary and everything in between.
